Installing Windows Server 2019 on VirtualBox: Step-by-Step Guide

To get VirtualBox installed on your PC, follow these instructions:

Go to this link and choose the Windows Hosts option.

The VirtualBox installer will download to your PC.
Run the VirtualBox installer to set it up.

Note: If you face any issues during the installation, try deselecting the USB support in the setup wizard.

Steps to create a new virtual machine in VirtualBox:

In the Machine menu, click on the New button.

Enter a name for your virtual machine, locate the Windows Server .iso file, then click Next.

Note: Ensure to tick the box for Skip Unattended Installations.

Allocate at least 4 GB of RAM and click Next.

Note: You may adjust this value according to your system's specifications.

Select the option to Create a Virtual Hard Disk Now (at least 50 GB is recommended). Click Next.

In the Summary window, click Finish.

Under the Tools tab, locate the Windows 10 .iso file by clicking the three-dot button. A dropdown will appear, select Media.

Select the Optical Disks tab and click Add.

Power on the virtual machine by clicking Start.

The installation of Windows Server 2019 will commence.
