Changing the Language Settings in Windows Server 2016

  1. Press the Start icon and then choose Settings.
  2. Then, go to Time & Language.
  3. On the left menu, select Region & Language.
  4. Click on Add a language.
  5. Find the language you wish to add and click on it.
  6. Note: There may be different variants for some languages. Pick the one that suits your needs best.
  7. The new language will appear in your list of languages. Click on it and select Options.
  8. Click the Download button under Download Language Pack.
  9. After the download completes, click the back arrow in the top left corner.
  10. Select the downloaded language and press Set as default.
  11. Lastly, restart your server to apply the language changes to Windows Server 2016.
