How to Change the Language in Windows 8.1
To change the language in Windows 8.1, you first need to install the preferred language pack. Follow these instructions:
- Open the Control Panel. Press [Windows] + [X] or right-click on the Windows icon at the far left of the taskbar.
- Navigate to Clock, Language, and Region and click on Add a language.
- In the next box, click on Add a language:
- Select your preferred language from the list and click the Open button.
- After installation, you can set it as your primary language.
Note: In both cases, a menu will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen, from which you can select the Control Panel option.
