Considerations for Installing Office 2016
- This product is designed for single-computer installation and remains permanently active once activated.
- There is no upgrade feature available with this product. If you are looking to upgrade to the 2019 or 2021 versions, a new purchase is necessary.
- Currently available are the Home and Student edition for personal and educational uses, and the Professional Plus edition suitable for business purposes. If your business is subject to Microsoft audits, it is advisable to consult Microsoft directly about Retail licenses and their audit compliance.
- This license is incompatible with Servers operating RDS CALs; only volume licenses, which we do not provide, are applicable in such cases.
- This version of Office is compatible only with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 operating systems.
- For installation and activation, any existing Office installations on the computer must be uninstalled, including trial versions of Office 365 that come pre-installed on new PCs.
